This item is our NUNOTANI KEIKI SEISKUSHO Wall Telegraph.  This was manufactured in AMAGASAKI, JAPAN.  Instead of the traditional telegraphs, this would have been mounted on a wall for communication to and from the engine room to the pilot’s room. This would be handy on vessels where floor space was limited.

On this specific telegraph, there is a black rubber handle.  On the top of the telegraph, you will see a plaque that reads:  ELECTRIC ENGINE TELEGRAPH, For Marine Use. It will also show the Volts, Cycle, Amp., Mfg., N0., Date, and Weight. The Company name-NUNOTANI KEIKI SEISKUSHO  CO., LTD.

This would look great on a wall whether it is in a nautical-themed restaurant/bar or just in someone’s home or boathouse!  You can’t go wrong with this wall telegraph.
