Vintage FREIBERGER Drum Sextant in Original Box

This vintage Freiberger drum sextant was made by a German company that began producing navigation tools in the late 1950s. It’s designed to measure the altitude of celestial bodies for determining position at sea or on land.

The sextant comes in a well-crafted wooden box with a built-in handle. The top of the box is labeled Drum-Sextant (FPM) and includes a dated certificate from January 1, 1996.
