Instead of the traditional telegraphs, this would have been mounted on a wall for communication to and from the engine room to the pilot’s room. This would be handy on vessels where floor space was limited.

On this telegraph you will find a round black knob for a handle. Also, on the face of this item the words Manufactured By NUNOTANI KEIKI SEISKUSHO LTD. AMAGASAKI, JAPAN.  The lettering is very vibrant, especially the lettering in red!
