Description
This Hezzanith Mark VII Ship Compass Binnacle is a rare piece of British maritime history. It was made by Heath & Co. in England around 1937 as part of a series of instruments designed for wartime use. Later, Heath & Co. merged into Scientific Instruments, which eventually became part of William Stanley’s operations.
We dug deep to find information on this specific model. It’s not something you come across often, and it stands out as a collectible for anyone interested in WWII-era naval tools.
A mounting plate appears to be missing from the front, and we’ve shown that clearly in the photos.
If you don’t want the base, we can remove it before shipping — just let us know.
