The Vintage TAMAYA Micrometer Marine Sextant serves as an essential navigation tool trusted by generations of sailors.

This remarkable instrument precisely determines a ship’s location at sea by measuring angles between celestial bodies like the sun, moon, and stars, and the horizon.

The sextant was placed in a sturdy black plastic box. The box lid proudly displays TAMAYA, along with the Number T08981 and the year 1985. Inside the box you will find an inspection certificate.

On the sextant you will see the clamp, micrometer drum, the shade glasses and the horizon mirror. Also, the telescope and the arc which has the model number and the words TOKYO and TAMAYA on it.

When you look at the photos you will be able to see that this item has a lot of wear to it due to its time out at sea.

Display this vintage masterpiece in your office, den, or alongside other nautical artifacts.
