Often times we see watertight doors and hatches at the shipyards and we walk past them because the of the overall size and weight. I always thought the coolest part of these original watertight doors and hatches was the cast iron wheel, so I started pulling them when we spotted ones that could be removed without too much effort.
This vintage ship’s watertight door wheel measures about 14 inches wide and weighs about 17 pounds. This item is being sold in as found condition. You can expect loose paint, dirt, and some grease here and there. This is a great display piece that can be displayed unrestored, restored, or even painted!
You will be shipped the vintage ship’s watertight door wheel shown in the attached photos!
