Chrome Plated Brass Half Cowl Vent

Product Description

This Chrome Plated Brass Half Cowl Vent was on boats as a way to get smoke away from the ship. The curved edge helps prevent wind from blowing the smoke back down through the vent. These were used on vintage pleasure crafts such as Chris Craft and Lyman.

This vintage nautical cowling vent is made out of chrome-plated brass.

The Chrome has not been polished. We have not made any repairs to this piece – it is being sold as found.
