This Vintage Seaboard No.3 Winch was made in the U.S. by Seaboard Corporation. The Seaboard Corporation has been around since 1918 – starting its business with a flour mill in Atchinson, Kansas.
A winch is a device to pull in or let out or otherwise adjust the tension of a rope or wire cable. In its simplest form, it consists of a spool attached to a hand crank.
