Product Description

You are looking at a Vintage Russian Barograph. A barograph is a barometer that records the barometric pressure overtime in a graphical form. It also is used to make a continuous recording of atmospheric pressure. The barograph was invented in 1844 by a French Physicist, Lucien Vidie.

This Russian barograph is in pretty good shape.  The small glass window doesn’t fit properly, it slides around a little.  You will see the letters CCCP on the top part of the box.  The initials CCCP was used before 1991.
