This is a Salvaged Aluminum Cross Bollard. This was salvaged from a once-working vessel that was being torn apart for scraps. Due to this, they will show varying levels of weather such as minor dents and scratches.

Bollards are short posts on the quay/jetty used to secure the Ship’s Mooring Lines. It can also be used in securing rope or cable.

This cleat is still perfect for its original purpose, securing vessels, but it would also make a great coastal or nautical decoration. You could even use it on a mantle as a stocking holder!
