This Light Blue Seiko Nautical Wall Clock is in pretty good condition! Slave nautical wall clock are clocks that depend upon another clock for the accuracy of it’s time. These were widely used in ships, businesses, and public schools. Slave clocks would be set up throughout the building/ship and would be electronically wired to a master clock that would ensure all clocks were on the same time.
There is a sticker of certification that dates back to Jan 1992.
This vintage nautical wall clock measures 8.75″ in diameter x 2.5″ deep. It is marked “SEIKO” on the dial face and the face diameter measures 6.5″. This clock weighs 2.2 pounds.
This clock is made of steel in and the original paint is Light Blue. The clock has a thumb screw on the side which allows access to the battery mechanism inside. The clock takes one AA battery. We have tested this clock and it does work.
