Glass Marine Industries Plaque

P4-98 is an old Glass Marine Industries Plaque that was salvaged off of a once working vessel after it was decommissioned from years of use on sea. On the plaque, the words “COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA” and “PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA” are imprinted below the company name “Glass Marine Industries”.

This particular plaque is from before 1964 – as that was the year that the company was renamed to Columbia Yacht Corporation, which they are still loosely named after today. (Company site: http://www.columbiayachts.com/company/history/)
