This 1980s Russian Submarine Clock, dated April 1981, is an authentic Cold War-era item from the Soviet Navy. The word антимагнитный appears on the clock face and translates to “antimagnetic.” Soviet manufacturers added this feature to help limit magnetic interference in naval environments.

When wound, the clock ticks and the hands move. In addition, it appears to run for about five days on a single wind. However, it loses roughly five minutes per day. Even so, it remains an impressive display piece for collectors and military history enthusiasts.

Inside the hinged lid, a stamped date confirms production in April 1981. The makers constructed the housing from stainless steel, while a brass accent ring surrounds the dial. Furthermore, the case shows visible wear from service aboard a vessel. Light dents and surface marks add to its authentic appearance and history.
