This is the Trinidad and Tobago Ship Flag – 51″ x 35″Â that was removed from a vessel being cut up for scrap. This flag is exactly like it was when it was found, it has not been washed.
In 1962, the United Kingdom granted Trinidad and Tobago independence and a new flag was adopted. The new flag featured a plain red field with a diagonal white-boarded black band. The red symbolizes the sun, courage and fire, the black line represents the earth and the white border represents equality.
This flag is in good condition and would make an excellent addition for someone who loves nautical flags!
