Vintage Caged Brass Nautical Ceiling Light – One Conduit

This Caged Brass Nautical Ceiling Light was once used in ship passageways to provide durable and reliable illumination. During service, many of these fixtures were coated in paint to reduce maintenance instead of polishing the brass.

We have fully removed the old paint and rewired this fixture with UL-listed components, ensuring it is safe and ready for modern use. The solid brass body includes one brass-plugged conduit. It also has three sturdy mounting arms that provide both durability and secure installation.

Because of its compact size, this light fits well in hallways, bathrooms, or entryways. It also adds authentic nautical character to poolside areas, patios, or bars. Designed for harsh marine conditions, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation.

Wiring

This light has been rewired with all new UL-listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, rated for any voltage under 250 volts. The wiring exits through the base for straightforward installation. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb or LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the brightness that best fits your lighting area.

To access the bulb, twist the brass cage off the base and lift it off.
