Vintage Brass Red Glass Globe Ceiling Light

This vintage brass red glass globe ceiling light originally lit passageways on working ships. Now, it brings that same utility to your home or business. With solid brass housing and a bold red glass globe, it’s built to last and easy to work into smaller spaces.

Although the brass shows wear from years at sea, that patina adds to its character. One bracket broke during salvage; however, the other still allows for secure mounting. We’ve plugged both conduit holes with brass caps. Fortunately, the red globe shows no damage and remains bright and clear.

Because it’s weather-resistant, you can install this vintage brass red glass globe ceiling light on a covered porch or entryway. At the same time, it’s a great choice for indoor use—in stairwells, narrow hallways, or utility rooms.

Wiring:

This light has been re-wired with all new UL-Listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, that are rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.

To access the bulb, twist the brass cage off the base and lift it off.
