Salvaged Brass Post Mounted Navigation Light – Top Gun Maverick

This brass post-mounted navigation light comes straight from a working vessel. We’ve reclaimed and restored it for everyday use, keeping its original build intact. The solid brass housing surrounds a clear Fresnel glass lens that distributes light evenly. While the lens shows light wear from use at sea, it still works perfectly.

This specific light design appeared in Top Gun: Maverick. You can spot it on the porch where Penny lives—right over Tom Cruise’s shoulder when he drops her off. In fact, two of our lights appear in that scene, along with the bar’s bell, which we also supplied. We’re proud to have contributed to the film with our authentic ship salvage pieces.

When installed, this light adds unmistakable nautical style to docks, patios, entryways, or garden posts. Its solid brass body handles outdoor weather and develops a warm patina over time, adding even more character to your space.

Wiring:

This light has been rewired with all new UL-Listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire rated for any voltage under 250 volts. The wiring exits through the base, making installation straightforward on posts or flat surfaces. We recommend using a standard, LED, or Edison-style bulb to customize brightness for your space.

To access the socket, loosen the thumbscrew and lift the hinged lid.
