This is an excellent Mark V Morse Reproduction US Navy Diving Helmet. The Mark V has been in production since 1916 when the US Navy decided to standardize their equipment. There were four manufacturers who made diving equipment during WW2: Morse of Boston MA, Schrader of Brooklyn NY, Diving Equipment & Supply Co. of Milwaukee WI, and Miller Dunn of Miami FL. This is a Morse of Boston MA reproduction.
It is a great historical piece and it displays very well! Just the thing for your nautical-themed décor or office. We get tons of requests for quality, less costly productions of the original helmet. After searching the world over, we decided upon this particular helmet for it’s quality of materials and weight. It’s the best production we have come across and makes a beautiful mantel piece. It’s solid construction of brass and copper make it ideal for a man cave display.
