This salvaged brass ship’s light was given new light when it was converted to be a brass office desk light, conveniently wired with a wall outlet and a toggle switch. The glass globe features a unique metal reflector, that spans 180 degrees coverage. This can be rotated in any direction, but it’s shown in the pictures in the way that we recommend — towards the “front”, opposite of the conduit and wiring.

We’ve made sure that you can use this easily in an office, den, living room, or all of the above! With the wall outlet instead of a hard wiring, you can unplug the light and move it to a different room. No need to bend down and unplug it every time that you want to turn it off either, the inline toggle switch allows for easy on/off access.

Wiring:

This light has been re-wired with all new UL-listed parts, including a Candelabra base socket and ground wire, that are rated for any voltage under 125 volts / 75 watts. We recommend using an E12 Candelabra base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.
