Vintage Perko Port Navigation Running Light

This is a Vintage Perko Port Navigation Running Light. Navigation lights are an iconic item in the nautical community. Perko, formed in 1907, has been creating quality nautical products for over 100 years. Red and green sidelights are required when away from the dock between sunset and sunrise and periods of restricted visibility.

Navigation lights alert other vessels of your positioning. The red indicates the port side of a boat. The green light indicates the starboard side. The white is seen from all angles typically mounted on the stern.

The red quarter Fresnel lens is in great shape, with only a small amount of surface chipping. This Perkins brand lens is 4 inches by around 4 inches. The housing is solid brass plated with chrome. The housing shows signs of slight wear and tear but could be easily polished up.

Unwired right now but wired upon request!

This light will be re-wired with all new UL-Listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, that are rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.
