This vintage starboard navigation light with cage is about 7 inches tall x about 5 inches wide. The base has two mounting lugs. Brass caps have been installed in the old conduit openings. The globe is true green glass. This light weighs about 3 1/2 pounds.
This light has been rewired with all new UL-Listed parts that are rated to work with any voltage under 250 volts. The bulb socket takes a normal screw-in house bulb of 60 watts or less.
For an extra $20, a 6 inch brass adapter plate can be added to this light. It ends the frustration of covering the junction box.
Big Ship Salvage scours the world for nautical antique lights, décor and other items related to the Nautical Life. Brass, copper, stainless steel and sometimes aluminum materials are used to make-up the vintage lights that we find. We soda-blast the old paint off, remove the old wiring and polish before they arrive in our warehouse. Then, we rewire with UL listed bulb sockets and wiring harnesses and get ready for purchase. They are now ready to warm your home, business or restaurant with that nautical feeling we all desire.
