Description
This Vintage Nautical Aluminum Clock is a salvaged maritime piece, likely used aboard British military or cargo ships. The clock face shows the markings COOKE and HULL, pointing to its naval origin.
The clock uses a 12-hour dial with an inner 24-hour ring, where each hour pairs with its 24-hour equivalent (1 with 13, 2 with 14, etc.). This setup helps crew members quickly read both standard and 24-hour time, which is especially useful in military settings.
The aluminum case displays wear from real service, including a bent section on the rim. A 5.5-inch glass lens covers the bold black-and-white dial. For convenience, weâve added a new battery-powered mechanism, making it functional for modern use.
