Vintage Brass Ship Clock with 24-Hour Dial – Battery Operated

This vintage brass ship clock came from a working vessel and features a solid brass body with real patina from years at sea. While the plastic face cover shows noticeable scratches, these marks reflect its working past and add character.

We’ve installed a new battery-powered movement, so the clock keeps time accurately. It runs on a standard AA battery. To replace the battery, simply unscrew the knob on the left, slide it downward, and lift the top of the clock.

Unlike standard clocks, this one uses a 24-hour dial—also called military time. Because the hands make one full rotation every 24 hours, there’s no confusion between AM and PM. For that reason, ships and military crews have used this format for decades.

Although this piece shows wear, it remains sturdy and reliable. Thanks to the updated movement, you can use it every day in your home, office, or shop.
