Description
This Seiko nautical wall clock was originally built as a slave clock for use on ships. It was part of a master timekeeping system that kept the entire vessel on schedule as it moved through different time zones.
The clock has a tan face with bold black numerals set in a blue/grey enamel-coated metal housing. The SEIKO name appears on the dial, a brand trusted for accurate timekeeping since 1881. This unit still includes its original shipboard wiring. However, we can convert it to run on a standard AA battery if needed.
It also shows signs of real service at sea, including a dent on the side of the housing. This adds to its character and reflects its history.
Features:
- Original Seiko slave clock, made in Japan
- Blue/grey enamel metal housing with tan dial and black numerals
- The original wiring is intact; optional battery conversion is available
- Dent on housing from use aboard ship
Whether you’re a collector or just want functional nautical gear, this piece makes a strong addition to any setup. For a cohesive look, consider pairing it with items from our nautical decor collection.
