Description
This nautical brass bell features the engraving “M.V. Latifa” and shows signs of real maritime use. You can hang it from the sturdy top mount or place it on a flat surface for display. The bell includes its original clapper and rings with a strong, clear tone.
Years at sea have left a natural patina on the brass, along with surface wear and scratches that tell its story. While we don’t have confirmed provenance, the engraving points to a possible connection to Latifa, the 70-foot yawl designed by William Fife III in 1936. That vessel earned a reputation for speed and craftsmanship in ocean racing.
Collectors, sailors, and fans of nautical decor will appreciate this bell’s blend of history and functionality. It’s ready for display or use in a coastal home, boathouse, or dock.
Features:
- Solid brass with aged patina and signs of use
- “M.V. Latifa” engraved on one side

- Hang from the top or place on a flat surface
