Description

This solid brass ship bell weighs 54.5 pounds and came from a working vessel. The word “ZEEBRUGGE” is stamped into the bell — a nod to the port city in Belgium known for its maritime activity on the North Sea.

The bell includes its original clapper, which still hangs securely and rings with a loud, clean tone. The surface shows some patina from age and use, but a bit of polishing will bring back its shine.

The bottom edge has several chipped sections where the brass broke off, likely from heavy use or impact. While the damage affects appearance, it doesn’t change the way the bell sounds or functions. This piece offers real weight, history, and character.

You can mount this bell for display or use it in a functional setting. Either way, it’s a bold example of authentic ship salvage.
