Antique American Steam Pressure Gauge for Canadian Company

This is a large antique brass steam pressure gauge that was manufactured by the Standard Gauge Manufacturing Company. This company was incorporated in Cleveland in 1896 and later that year, they bought out another pressure gauge firm. Between 1896 and 1899, they moved their location to Syracuse.

The company that they manufactured this gauge for was “The Canadian Heine Safety Boiler Co.” from Toronto, Ontario. I have found some advertisements for this company starting in 1899 and ending around 1905. On eBay, there is a listing of a book for this company – and the date is 1895.
