Vintage Clear Globe Ceiling Light – Bent Cage Nautical Fixture

Salvaged from a working vessel, this fixture features a bent brass cage surrounding a clear glass globe. The glass shows a hairline crack that cannot be felt from either side, and the cage leans slightly, bringing the globe close to one edge. These details reflect its real use at sea.

We have fully polished and rewired this light for modern residential or commercial installation. Its durable build allows use indoors or outdoors. Ideal for a hallway, bathroom, entryway, or covered porch, this fixture adds both history and reliable lighting.

Wiring

This light has been rewired with all new UL-listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, rated for up to 250 volts. The wiring exits through the base for easy installation.  We recommend using a standard base LED or Edison-style bulb, allowing you to choose the brightness for your space.

To access the socket, unscrew and remove the brass cage.
