Vintage Brass Ship Light with Cage and Ribbed Glass

This vintage brass ship light came from a salvaged vessel and shows clear signs of real use. It features solid brass construction, and the surface shows a heavy, natural patina. Because of this, the fixture keeps its original weathered look without polishing.

We rewired the fixture for modern use, so you can install it without additional electrical work. The ribbed glass globe remains in excellent condition, and it sits securely inside the brass cage. Although the cage does not twist fully to its original stop, it still tightens enough to hold firm during use.

At the top, you can see the original conduit openings, and we plugged them to keep the fixture clean. As a result, the light keeps its original structure while still working in a modern setting. The mounting bracket measures approximately 5.5 inches wide, so you can mount it on a wall or ceiling with ease.
