Vintage Brass Engine Room Ceiling Light – Optional 10″ Rain Cap

The Vintage Brass Engine Room Ceiling Light once served aboard working ships. Built from solid brass, it resists corrosion and performs well in both indoor and outdoor settings.

At the base of the cage, you may find the DAE YANG maker’s mark, a detail that confirms its maritime origin. We sealed the original conduit holes with threaded brass plugs to give the light a clean, finished look. You can leave the brass with its natural patina for an aged character, or polish it for a brighter finish.

Additionally, you can select an optional 10-inch brass raincap from the dropdown menu. This feature not only adds a decorative touch but also provides extra protection, especially for damp environments.

Thanks to its compact size and durable construction, this light works well in hallways, over sinks, or on covered porches. Wherever it’s installed, it adds genuine nautical character to your space.

Wiring:

This light has been rewired with all new UL-Listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, that is rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.

To access the bulb holder, unscrew the cage and the glass globe.
