Description
This vintage brass caged marine light comes from a working ship environment. Fixtures like this once delivered dependable illumination in engine rooms, passageways, and service areas aboard vessels.
The light features a solid brass body with a protective cage surrounding a clear glass globe. Over time, the brass developed surface wear, patina, and marks from extended marine service. Meanwhile, the glass globe remains intact and shows scattered spotting from age and use.
During restoration, technicians opened and rewired this fixture, allowing modern electrical use while preserving its original industrial character.
