Small Vintage Brass Red Globe Ceiling Light – WISKA Single Conduit Fixture

This Small Vintage Brass Red Globe Ceiling Light is an authentic WISKA nautical fixture once used aboard working vessels. It served as a navigation light, marking the port (left) side of a ship during nighttime travel.

The solid brass base now displays patina from years at sea, and the cage shows a weathered finish, emphasizing its maritime history. Meanwhile, the short red glass globe remains in excellent condition, with only a few minor scratches. For installation, the fixture includes two mount lugs, requiring a mounting space about 4 inches wide. In addition, the single conduit opening is neatly sealed with a brass plug.

Because of its authentic design and compact form, this light fits perfectly in hallways, entryways, or nautical-themed interiors. It adds true maritime character to both residential and commercial spaces.

Wiring

Each light has been rewired with UL-Listed parts rated for up to 250 volts. The globe and cage unscrew as one piece for easy bulb access. The wiring exits from the top for straightforward installation. A medium base bulb of 60 watts or less works best for this fixture.
