Small Brass Vintage Marine Ceiling Light – Salvaged Ship Fixture

This small vintage marine ceiling light was salvaged from a working vessel and shows signs of real use. The solid brass housing features patina and markings throughout — a result of years spent at sea. Although it’s compact, it provides durable, functional lighting in tight spaces. It is designed for ceiling or bulkhead mounting, with wiring that exits through the bottom for straightforward installation.

The clear glass globe is still in very good condition and remains securely seated in its brass cage. Additionally, the base of the fixture includes two conduit openings, both of which have been sealed with brass plugs. This not only preserves the industrial look but also keeps the unit sealed and neat.

If you’re mounting directly to a surface, the base includes three mounting legs spaced 3.5 inches apart. However, for those installing over a standard junction box, we also offer an optional 6″ brass adapter plate. This makes it easier to cover the box and gives the light a cleaner fit.

Because of its small size and authentic marine character, this light is ideal for hallways, entryways, or utility rooms. It’s also a strong option for anyone building out a marine-themed interior or restoration project.

Wiring:

This light has been fully rewired with new UL-listed components, including a medium base socket and ground wire rated for up to 250 volts. The wiring exits from the top for straightforward ceiling installation.
We recommend using a standard base LED or LED Edison bulb to achieve your desired brightness.

To access the socket, simply remove the threaded cage and globe from the base.
