Small Brass Ceiling Light with Amber Glass – Baker

The Small Brass Baker Ceiling Light is a compact, ship-salvaged fixture built for durability and practical use. The solid brass body features “Baker” cast on the front of the housing, showing its original manufacturer. It has two conduit openings that have been sealed closed.

Wiring now runs from the top, allowing for straightforward ceiling installation in tight spaces. The amber glass globe is in good condition, with light surface wear such as minor scratches that do not affect use. The brass shows heavy patina and surface wear throughout, clearly reflecting its time in service.

Because of its size, this light works well in smaller areas like hallways, entryways, or low-clearance spaces. It provides functional overhead lighting while keeping its original shipboard character. We also offer an adapter plate for mounting the light over a standard junction box, making installation easier in modern settings.

Wiring:

This light has been rewired with all new UL-listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.
