Mini Brass Cage Ceiling Light with Frosted Glass – Candelabra Socket

This mini brass cage ceiling light came off a working vessel and shows light patina from years at sea. The four-bar brass cage protects a thick frosted glass lens. Because of its compact size, it works well in hallways, small entryways, or outdoor bathrooms, especially in coastal homes.

You can mount the light flush to the ceiling or install it on a wall, depending on your setup. To change the bulb, simply remove the two hex nuts and lift the cage. The fixture uses a standard candelabra base (E11) socket.

Ships and oil rigs used lights like this in tight passageways and service areas. As a result, the fixtures had to handle damp air and constant use. The solid brass body and enclosed glass lens helped protect the bulb in these conditions.

Over time, the brass developed minor wear from service at sea. However, the patina adds character without making the fixture look heavily aged.

Wiring:

This light has been rewired with all new UL-listed parts, including a Candelabra base socket, rated for any voltage under 125 volts / 75 watts. We recommend using an E11 (candelabra) base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.
