This is a Miletich Thin Ribbed Caged Brass Ceiling Light. This style of light would have lined a passageway on a ship before it was salvaged. It has been polished, then rewired for your residential/commercial use. You can use this light inside or outside without fear of the elements.

This light was manufactured by the Spanish company Mateo Miletich. It was established in Vigo, Spain in 1935. It is currently the oldest company in Spain manufacturing high-quality watertight electrical material for Ships.  Miletich is prominently marked on the Fresnel lens.

The thin ribbed glass globe is in excellent condition.

This light would look great in a small hallway or even a small bathroom for some extra lighting. They make excellent additions to your pool or bar area!

Wiring:

This Miletich Thin Ribbed Caged Brass Ceiling Light has been re-wired with all new UL-listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.

To access the bulb holder, unscrew the cage from the base.
