This creation shows our ability to recover, salvage, and rebuild vintage nautical lights. This pendant light started out with a vintage polished aluminum ceiling light. We added a brass rain cap to add contrast with the aluminum housing on the ceiling light.
This salvaged polished aluminum pendant ceiling light was fitted with a 12 inch wide brass shade. The center hole on the top housing was threaded and a an 11 inch brass down rod was added. The down rod has a 5 inch ceiling mount plate with four mounting holes. This light will extend down from the ceiling about 19 1/2 inches.
The polished aluminum ceiling light is about 7 3/4 inches long and 5 1/2 inched wide. It has the original ribbed glass globe.
To access the bulb, the cage threads off globe. The brass shade is held in place by 6 screws on the interior of the shade.
This light has been completely rewired with UL-Listed parts made by Westinghouse Electric. The bulb socket takes a medium base bulb of 100 watts or less. The wiring is rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We have also installed a copper ground wire.
Each light may have some minor ware and tear from being authentically salvaged like the photos show. We meticulously pack our items to ensure the safety of each order.
