This is a copper covered small vintage brass ceiling light. We have added a 7.5 inch copper rain cap to dress it up! These lights are usually used as ceiling lights for different passageways throughout the ship.
Navigation lights alert other vessels of your positioning. The red indicates the port side of a boat. The green light indicates the starboard side. The white is seen from all angles typically mounted on the stern.
This vintage brass light measures 7 inches wide by 4.5 inches long. The 7.5-inch rain cap is made of solid copper. The globe is in great shape with only a few minor scratches. It has two mount lugs which will require a mounting space about 4 inches wide. The original single conduit opening has a brass plug installed. This light weighs around 3 pounds.
Weight: 3 lbs.
The light has been re-wired with all new UL-Listed parts, including a ground wire, that is rated for any voltage under 250 volts. The bulb holder takes a standard medium base LED or Edison bulb. Access the bulb fixture by spinning off the threaded brass cage and removing the glass globe.
**We offer a brass adapter plate that can help solve installation problems that you might encounter. At $20.00 apiece, the 6-inch brass adapter plate will mount over your already existing junction box. Talk to us if you have any questions about the adapter plate.**
