This Compact Red Brass Cage Ceiling Light is a USA-made fixture by Pauluhn, founded in 1928. The company built its reputation on rugged lighting for marine and industrial use. Because of this, the fixture reflects that same dependable construction. It uses solid red brass, a copper-rich alloy known for corrosion resistance and a warmer tone than standard brass.

The short cage design protects the glass while keeping the overall profile compact. This style was common on working ships where durability mattered. The fixture mounts to a taller junction box, which provides more space for wiring and a secure installation.

We route the wiring through the bottom for a clean setup. We also plug any side conduit openings before shipment. Because of this, installation stays simple across different ceiling setups. UL Wiring

This light has been rewired with all new UL-listed parts. It includes a medium base socket and a ground wire. The fixture is rated for up to 250 volts, making it suitable for standard residential use. We recommend using a standard base LED or LED Edison bulb. This allows you to control brightness based on your space and application.

To access the socket, unthread the cage and remove the globe. The wiring exits through the bottom, allowing for a clean and straightforward installation.
