Brass Marine Ceiling Light – Frosted Glass, Heavy Patina

This brass marine ceiling light came off a working ship and served as overhead lighting. It features a frosted glass globe protected by a solid brass cage. Over time, the brass developed heavy patina, which gives the fixture its aged marine look.

The fixture includes two side conduits. We will plug both once purchased. In addition, it comes with mounting brackets for installation. We rewired the light for modern use, so it is ready to install.

The brass cage does not screw completely flush. However, it closes securely and stays in place. Because it does not fully seal, we recommend this light for indoor use.

The frosted glass softens the light output and spreads it evenly. As a result, this fixture works well in hallways, entryways, kitchens, workshops, or commercial interiors with an industrial marine feel.

Wiring:

This light has been re-wired with all new UL-Listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, that are rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.

To access the bulb, twist the brass cage off the base and lift it off.
