Brass Engine Room Ceiling Light – Optional 10″ Rain Cap

The vintage brass engine room ceiling light was designed for use in working ship environments. Solid brass construction helps resist corrosion and allows for use in both indoor and outdoor settings.

We sealed the original conduit holes with threaded brass plugs to create a cleaner, more finished appearance. You can leave the brass as-is for a natural patina or polish it for a brighter surface. The brass shows some surface wear consistent with handling and use.

The glass globe is in good condition and fits securely within the caged housing. It may show slight imperfections such as small bubbles or light surface scratches, which are typical for this type of glass.

You also have the option to add a 10-inch brass rain cap from the dropdown menu. This add-on provides extra coverage and works well in damp or exposed areas.

The compact size and durable build make this light a practical choice for hallways, over sinks, or on covered porches. It provides focused light while maintaining a clear nautical look.

Wiring:

This light has been rewired with all new UL-Listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, that is rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.

To access the bulb holder, unscrew the cage and the glass globe.
