Brass Engine Room Ceiling Light with Optional 9.5-Inch Rain Cap

This brass engine room ceiling light brings authentic maritime character to any space. Originally built for use aboard working ships, its solid brass construction provides excellent durability while resisting corrosion in damp environments.

The fixture features a clear glass globe protected by a sturdy brass cage that reflects the rugged design found throughout engine rooms and passageways. Two original conduit openings have been sealed with threaded brass plugs, giving the light a clean finished appearance while preserving its industrial look. The brass shows light patina, scratches, and other signs of previous marine service that add authentic character.

An optional 9.5-inch brass rain cap is available from the dropdown menu. It provides additional protection from the weather while giving the fixture an even more traditional shipboard appearance.

This compact fixture works well in entryways, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, covered porches, garages, workshops, restaurants, and other nautical-inspired spaces. It is suitable for wall or ceiling installation, indoors or outdoors.

Wiring:

This light has been rewired with new UL-listed parts, including a medium-base socket and a ground wire. It supports standard residential 110–120V wiring and is rated for up to 250 volts.

• Use a standard base E26 medium-base bulb, including LED or LED Edison styles.
• Unscrew the brass cage and glass globe to access the socket for bulb replacement.
