Brass Ceiling Light – Cage Fixture with Stained Glass Globe

We salvaged this brass ceiling light from a working vessel and restored it for modern use. The brass housing shows light wear from service at sea, and it gives the fixture a used surface without affecting function. Because of its solid brass construction, you can install it indoors or in covered outdoor areas.

The clear glass globe shows heavy staining and buildup that does not fully clean off. This comes from long-term use in a marine environment. However, the glass remains intact and functions as intended. As a result, you get a working fixture with visible signs of use.

The brass cage fits securely around the globe and protects it from impact. In addition, it twists off from the base, so you can access the bulb without tools.

This brass ceiling light works well in smaller spaces. For example, you can install it over a sink, in a hallway, or above a table. It also fits bathrooms, patios, or bar areas where a compact fixture is needed.

Wiring:

This light has been rewired with all new UL-listed parts, including a medium-base socket and ground wire, rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb or LED Edison bulb so you can choose the brightness that fits your area.

To access the bulb, unscrew the cage from the base.
