Introducing our Vintage Marked Russian Ship Bell, these authentic pieces of maritime history were once used to notify the crew of various dangerous situations that could arise while at sea. These bells were installed all over the ship and followed standard practices across the international maritime industry with various alarm signals, such as 7 short alarm rings followed by 1 long alarm ring signaling a general alarm and continuous ringing signaling a fire alarm.

This particular vintage alarm bell features a small faceplate with “ABP. RP.” marked above and Russian characters on the plate. The housing is made of stainless, while the bell is aluminum. The overall condition is good, with some surface wear from actual use on a vessel.

*While the working condition of the bell is not verified, it is sure to be a great addition to any collection or vintage décor.
