You are looking at a Sound Powered Russian Telephone that was salvaged from a ship that was being torn apart for scraps. A sound-powered telephone is when the microphone transducer converts sound pressure from a user’s voice into an electric current, which is then converted back to sound by a transducer at the receiver nodes.
