Vintage Red Lens Brass Forcato-Verona Electric Ship Lamp – Port

This vintage brass ship lamp was made by the Forcato Lighting Company in Verona, Italy. It features a red Fresnel lens, originally used to mark the port side of a vessel. While the lens may have small chips (shown in the photos), they don’t affect its look or function. The brass housing also shows weathering, which adds to its nautical character.

Its base forms an X-shape, and two support arms extend from the top. Because of its design, you can use this lamp in different ways. It works as a ceiling fixture, a post-mounted light, or even a desk lamp. Wherever you place it, this piece brings real maritime history into your space.

This light has been re-wired with all new UL-listed parts, including a medium base ceramic socket and ground wire, rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.

To access the socket, loosen the bolts, turn the lid, and lift.
