Vintage Brass Post Light with Fresnel Lens and Guard Bars

This vintage brass post light comes from a working marine environment and shows clear signs of use. It features a solid brass body with scratches and patina across the surface, which reflect its time in service.

The light stands 9.5 inches tall and includes a thick Fresnel glass lens. The lens remains in good overall condition. However, it shows light staining from use and has a few small chips around the edges. These marks do not affect how the light functions, but they do show its history.

To access the bulb, you remove the three screws on the top lid. Once opened, the interior is easy to reach for maintenance or rewiring if needed. In addition, four vertical guard bars surround the glass and help protect the lens from impact.

You can mount this fixture as a post light for outdoor use, such as along walkways, docks, or entry points. It also works well indoors. For example, you can install it in a workshop, garage, or nautical-themed space where a durable light is needed. Because of its size and build, it fits well in both functional and display settings.

Before shipping, we will plug the open conduit shown in the photos so the fixture arrives ready for installation.

Wiring:

This light has been rewired with all new UL-listed parts, including a medium base socket making it compatible with any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb or Edison-style LED bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.
