Fresnel Light

This Vintage  Brass Fresnel Lens Post Light was designed to weather the storm. This style of post-light can be used indoor or outdoor. They make great patio and dock lights.

This post light is made of solid cast brass. The thick clear 360 degree Fresnel lens is in good condition, it does have some small scratches and chips due to years at sea (shown in photos). This light measures 12.5 inches tall and is 8.5 inches at its widest point. The mounting flange is 5 inches in diameter with 3 mount holes. This hefty light weighs 16.5 pounds.

Wiring:
We have installed a new porcelain bulb holder, wiring, and a ground wire. All new electrical parts are UL-listed and are rated to work with any voltage under 250 volts. The bulb holder takes a medium base bulb of 100 watts or less. The new wiring exists through the post-mount.

To access the bulb, undo the latch and lift the hinged lid.
