Description

This is a Maritime Vintage Clear Fresnel Lens Post Light. Originally used on ships to signal position, it gives off a white light that’s visible from all directions. It was typically mounted on the bow or stern.

Key features:

  • Emits a 360° white light, used for navigation
  • Fresnel lens has some chips from use
  • Brass body has minor dents and scratches, but fully functional
  • Marked “Tranberg” – made in Stavanger, Norway
  • Great for repurposing as a garden or walkway light

Wiring:

These lights have been re-wired with all new UL-listed parts, including a medium base socket and ground wire, rated for any voltage under 250 volts. We recommend using a standard base LED bulb / LED Edison bulb, which allows you to choose the bulb’s brightness to match your lighting area.
