Salvaged Brass Post Mounted Light with Red Fresnel Lens

This salvaged brass post mounted light came from a working ship and still shows signs of real use. The body is solid brass and shifts into a reddish tone near the top. It stands 12.5 inches tall and mounts easily with a four-hole brass base.

A red Fresnel lens wraps around the center. It’s in good condition with a few surface scratches, typical of marine salvage. Just above the lens, a thin brass ring supports the reddish brass lid. That ring has a small bend, adding character to the piece.

Because of its size and design, this light works well on docks, porches, gate posts, or entry columns. It can also bring nautical character to industrial-style interiors, restaurants, bars, or workshops.

Wiring:

This item has been rewired with new UL-listed components, including a standard medium-base (E26) socket and ground wire. It is wired for standard 110–120V residential use, with components rated for up to 250V.

• Accepts any standard medium-base (E26) bulb, including LED and LED Edison-style bulbs.
• Wiring exits through the base for post-mounted installation.
• To access the bulb, loosen the three wing nuts and lift the round lid.
